1911 U.S. Army .45 manufactured in 1913, second year production. These early WWI
Pistols have the fine brushed blue finish, type III HP marked barrel, WGP
(Walter G. Penfield) inspector, double diamond grips, two tone type III lanyard
loop magazine, uncircled horse rear of slide, rounded rear sight, and 1911 last
patent date. Made into an instructional cutaway in 1986 by Karl Karash.
