below to view the page containing more details and notes about that particular
model. We have posted the images and information to help other collectors
looking for reference material. The guns on this page are not for sale.
We try to be as accurate as possible, but the information presented here
is based on observations and official records.
Official records have shown to be very useful but often leave much to be
desired for accuracy and dependability. Observations
are also useful so long as enough pistols are available for examination and
these pistols have not been altered in any way. Observed pistols in some serial
ranges seem to be nearly non existent. Consequently when a pistol emerges out of
a drawer it may reveal new information that was previously unreported; it may
also lead to a wild goose chase if the pistol has been altered. Therefore many
details, explanations, and exact serial number ranges may never be known in
depth, but as information is uncovered, every attempt will be made to present it
here. We therefore apologize in advance for any errors or omissions, but welcome
corrections and comments. Special
Thanks to Karl Karash for his on-going writing and research
contributions to the "Gallery". **Letters
such as (SA), (MR), (RIA) and (AA) next to model indicate Arsenal marked.
